[Local Biz Spotlight] Sought x Found

“We’re not just about coffee, we’re about the people.”

Sought x Found is a small batch roastery located in the heart of Crescent Heights. Talking to the owner Caleb, we quickly found that the passion behind the business was deeper than their love of coffee and their values are what makes his already good coffee even better. Run by a husband and wife duo, Caleb and Kitty take special care and pride to develop traceable relationships with their suppliers as they stand firmly in their commitment to ethically source coffee from independent small farmers and empower their communities. Their commitment extends to even the take-home coffee bags where you’ll find details of the coffee, the farm it was sourced from, and a short background story of the farmers, all carefully handwritten by Kitty herself.

Even with current uncertainties and its difficulties, Caleb remains confident in the resilient nature of Calgary. In fact, he told us a little secret that they are preparing to expand their current cozy roastery for an exciting collaboration of food & coffee concept that he will announce soon.

If you can, we highly recommend you stop in and support Caleb and Kitty at Sought x Found. Your business directly contributes to enriching many lives including small business owners, along with sustaining the livelihood of small farmers around the world.
